"You are doing a great thing ..." PDF Print E-mail

The Volunteer Organization of CPRI often receives letters from CPRI clients and their families. Here is some of what has been said.

"You have gone above and beyond anything we could have expected... I do not know how to say how very much we appreciate all that has been done." - mother of a CPRI client

"I had a stay at CPRI for three months. I came home and now I am much better. My family and me struggle everyday. And I just wanted you all to know how happy you made me and my family... your donation/sponsor made our Chirstmas GREAT!" - CPRI client

"You have made a huge difference in our lives this year... this year will be a year to remember." - mother of a CPRI client

"Christmas was looking pretty bleak for us financially and there was very, very little under our tree. I was overcome with emotion when my husband brought home the items that you so carefully shopped for... Thank you so very much for taking what would have been a difficult, stressful Christmas and turning it into a magical joyous one!" - mother of a CPRI client

"We would like to start off by thanking you for giving our son this wonderful opportunity. Without your generous support he wouldn't have been able to have had and enjoyed the fantastic time he had through the [specialized] camp... It is fantastic and a proud moment when we drop him off to see his smiling face and to see that same smiling face when we pick him back up. Again, thank you so very much for giving him a wonderful opportunity. Sincerly and forever grateful - CPRI family

"I want to thank the Volunteer Organization of CPRI for allowing me to spend time with my daughter while she was staying at CPRI. I can see that you are all devoted and caring individuals and you have really made a difference in my life. I can't imagine what I would have done without your help with the transportation costs of traveling back and forth. I was also very grateful to be able to stay on the Grounds of CPRI when my daughter was first admitted.

(Daughter) is growing and learning faster than ever now, and she really has become much more manageable since her stay at CPRI. All of CPRI staff and volunteers were compassionate and helpful. The future for our family looks to be a brighter one.

As a mother, what you have done for us really means the world to me and has given me a better outlook on life. I have gotten my fight back! And I won't give up on my daughter. (Daughter's) behavior is so much better than before she was at CPRI. She is following instructions quite well. In fact, her communication level has been greatly increased and her vocabulary is forever expanding. She is actually asking me why she can't do something. She is joining the world and seeking out interaction with others. It is amazing to know how she was, and now to see what she is becoming." - mother of a CPRI client
